You are entitled to apply for AOW pension. Based on the answers you gave us, the following actions, information and tips apply to your situation:

  • Your AOW pension age is:

  • You can receive 36% of the basic AOW pension amount.

  • You need a BSN (citizen service number) to apply for AOW pension. It is stated on your Dutch passport or ID card (before 1994: "sofi number"). You can get a BSN number by registering as a "non-resident" in the Netherlands. Or by renewing your Dutch passport or ID card.
